Badie Designs Receives Woman-Owned Small Business Certification

We are pleased to join the group of forward-thinking businesses that have been awarded this certification. As a participant in the WOSB program, Badie Designs can now bid on federal contracts.

According to SBA guidance, the U.S. government has set a goal of awarding at least 5% of all federal contracting dollars to women-owned small businesses every year. Thanks to set-asides like these, Badie Designs has the ability to work directly with the U.S. government as a prime contractor or, alternatively, to become a subcontractor by working with a small business that has a federal contract. Because we are new to this market, we are utilizing all of our resources to compete for contracts.

To qualify for participation in the WOSB program, small businesses must be at least 51% owned and controlled by women who are United States citizens. In addition, women must manage the routine operations of the business and make long-term decisions about its future. Badie Designs meets all of these requirements.

Receiving WOSB status means that Badie Designs can broaden its customer base and help more clients convey their brand story, appeal to numerous target audiences, increase website traffic, and ultimately build brand awareness. This is especially important for government agencies, some of which are struggling to catch up with advances in technology.
