The AudioBooksNow is a whole new way to enjoy reading while road trips or long commutes. Simpalm is a top educational app development company in the Washington DC area and has developed both iOS, Android and Nook app versions of AudioBooksNow with custom Audio Player and Book Narrator that make a story come alive to provide enjoyable book reading facilities. AudioBooksNow comes with a large selection of bestselling and classic titles of famous digital books. Features Users can search Audiobooks, the app will display bestselling books from various categories. Users can filter & sort audiobooks based upon downloads, rating and bestselling. Ability to purchase and download their favorite Audiobooks. The app is implemented with local storage and the app will store Audiobooks within the app. Users can set the timer to stop listening to the selected chapter within the audiobook Users can auto-bookmark wherever they want. Users can add Audiobooks to their wish list. Users can rate audiobooks after listening. This app also has a manual bookmark labeling feature. This app allows the listener to sync Audiobooks and bookmark across multiple devices. Manage your Audiobook library. Custom audio player to play any chapter of audiobook. Users can jump forward or back 30-second buttons within the player. Users can manage their accounts. Challenges and Solutions This project was complex in terms of the broad level of functionalities with strict deadlines to deliver native iOS and Android mobile applications. The client wanted us to streamline app with responsive interface to quickly make purchase, download and play audiobooks with or without Internet connection basically called data/file synchronization and play any chapter of audiobook in the custom built-in audio player. We implemented robust in-app purchases, data synchronization, and a custom audio player to make efficient searching, purchasing, downloading and audiobooks playing. This project was one of our big successes and an honor to work for the education industry.
