Benefit Systems UX Audit and UI Redesign Share: EL Passion Score Awaiting client review n/a Date Published 11 September 2019 Reading Time 3-Minute Read Benefit Systems approached EL Passion and requested a search tool audit, recommendations from our team and enhancement of their existing solution. The Client Benefit Systems provides employers’ with a wide range of benefit solutions to offer their employees. The most well-known product is the MultiSport card with over a million users. It allows cardholders to attend sports classes and use various sports facilities such as gyms, swimming pools. The Challenge Benefit Systems had a fully-functional search tool for sports facilities participating in their program available on their website. However, they had doubts concerning the usability of the product. That is why they approached EL Passion and requested a search tool audit, recommendations from our team and enhancement of their existing solution. EL Passion Our UX&UI experts conducted a UX audit and redesigned the search tool in order to ensure it is a useful and intuitive product that users will love. EL Passion worked on the solution to Benefit Systems’ problem according to our tested and carefully prepared framework. During the kick-off of the project, we met with the team responsible for the search tool creation. The meeting facilitated communication and gave the EL Passion team valuable insight into the way the tool should work. Next, we proceeded with the analysis of the current solution in order to draft the scenarios for user testing. We conducted 5 tests of the proposed solution with active MultiSport users. It enabled us to identify the main areas of the tool that needed improvement. Based on the results of these tests our team provided Benefit Systems with recommendations and possible solutions. EL Passion designers prepared the prototype presented to the client. After consultations and introducing some minor changes, our UI and UX team started working on the Visual Design phase of the project. During the project, we used several tools which helped us achieve a top-quality solution. During the testing phase, EL Passion worked on Lookback. This enabled us to record and track the tests of all the users who were involved in the process. It also updated the client about the progress during every step of testing. Using Principle for animation design, we were able to animate required interactions in a significantly shorter period of time. Outcome As a result of the efficient work of our experts, the client received a detailed audit of their initial version of the search tool as well as recommendations and ready-to-implement solutions to streamline the product. The EL Passion team provided Benefit Systems with the enhanced user experience of their search tool and a beautiful user interface.
