VSTORM delivered the website from scratch with custom design and payment system integration.

About the Client

The Lower Silesian Center of Cell Transplantation with the National Bank of Marrow Donors was founded back in 1986. The high level of the National Bank laboratory has gained international approval in the form of the accreditation of the European Federation of Immunogenetics, which is an indispensable attribute of keeping the Register of Bone Marrow Donors and the selection of recipient pairs — the donor of the transplant.

Business Need: Deliver and launch a website in 7 days

The Lower Silesian Center had a clear goal. They wanted to launch a website for their conference from scratch. Short term was the main challenge: there were only 7 days to design, develop, and test the website before launching it in the real world.

Andrzej Lange, Professor, and Head of the Lower Silesian Center wanted to create a great user experience for the target group of the event. That was an annual conference gathering doctors, professors, and interns from all over the world, which meant that the website had to support the international payment methods and completely remote management for potential visitors and speakers.

Mr. Lange had specific criteria for the potential IT partner to solve the task. Firstly, he researched their past works, similar to the website he wanted to achieve.

Secondly, he looked for a young agency with an ambitious team and fresh take.

Thirdly, he needed a team ready to take the challenge and start right away.

Finally, the right IT team would not only consist of the technical experts but also keep in close touch and report the progress on each step of cooperation.

Approach: Agile methodology with onsite cooperation

VSTORM started by gathering the client’s needs through interviews with the CEO and the Lower Silesian Center team, to match the technical requirements and business demands.

The end website needed to be high-performing and load quickly all around the globe, giving target users from different countries a first-class experience. That is why VSTORM used some magic tricks to optimize the speed loading of the website.

During the last phase, the team had to integrate some marketing tools like the timer on the home page and implement database connection with the client’s email database.

Writing the code according to the cutting-edge practices with code review ensured quick and trouble-free development. VSTORM team also provided the client with instructions on how to manage content on the web page and successfully finished the works even 1 day before the deadline.
