We worked with Candy Kittens to refresh their brand identity and maximise their return on their Shopify eCommerce website.

About the Client

Candy Kittens don’t just make sweets. They create delicious treats and promote a lifestyle choice that is open to everyone. Candy Kittens are a gourmet sweet company based in London and fronted by reality TV star and entrepreneur, Jamie Laing.

CK offers something different, a sweet treat that is made vegan and vegetarian-friendly, full of natural flavours, colours and real fruit juice as well as being carnauba wax and palm oil-free – a real treat for the taste buds and the environment.

The Challenge

Our web design digital agency collaborated closely with the in-house design team at Candy Kittens to refresh their brand identity and maximise their return on their Shopify eCommerce website.

Our Approach

We explored and developed a wide range of possibilities for the new identity, from options that focussed on the illustration to stripped back approaches that relied on the copy.

Ultimately, the team decided to retool and refresh both the existing logo mark and range of packaging, eliminating previous inconsistencies across Candy Kittens offering.

The result is a substantially more user-friendly image, which has seen a significant uptake in the number of service providers using the website.

The new website includes a great looking, easy to use mega-menu to easily post visitors to explore their product offerings. The cart flow includes quick pay links, as well as more traditional checkout as a guest and a create account functionality.

Results

High-end transitions and movement improve the customer experience and the time users spend on the website has significantly improved.

Since putting the new website live, online sales have tripled and 6B received a personal acknowledgment of thanks from one of the co-owners Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing.
