About the Project The Cormar Carpet Company is one of the UK’s largest carpet manufacturers. With over 240 employees and a fleet of 60 vehicles, the company proudly continues to manufacture and distribute carpet from its two mills in Lancashire. The Challenge Cormar Carpet Company required a new B2B trade portal, the software system that supports a mammoth sales operation where carpet retailers across the United Kingdom can buy Cormar’s carpet ranges. Their previous system had a dated interface, was overly convoluted for its purpose, and was not responsive on the latest devices. The Solution We designed and developed a new, fresh B2B portal that delivers a modern e-commerce experience. Retailers can easily order carpets in just a few simple steps by choosing carpet specs (style, cuts) and confirming delivery dates & times. Furthermore, the system is responsive across all the latest devices. Results Since launch, Cormar has recorded a 300% increase in business with transactions well into the tens of millions!
