Custom CRM for High-Growth Manufacturer

The Challenge

Sharmans are an industrial manufacturing company, who specialise in fitting their own gutter lining to commercial properties across the country. Sharmans sell through contractors who fit their product, and have hundreds of different projects and buildings to manage. On a high growth curve, Sharmans had a requirement for a custom software solution to become the management centre of their business operations. We were challenged with building a bespoke web application to fit their niche business model.

Our Solution

We built Sharmans an advanced CRM which would streamline and organise their complex business operations. The solution allowed employees to track their calendar and tasks (integrated directly with Office365) as well as a management portal for their numerous projects.

The management portal allows for Sharman’s employees to add in new properties, companies, contractors, specifiers, and occupiers and as a result create projects, of which the financials could be tracked directly through a bespoke Sage integration.

Conclusion

Our solution gave Sharman’s increased efficiency and the ability to scale their business without technology constraints. Sharmans no longer have the struggle of organising their work with multiple off-the-shelf solutions and spreadsheets that frustrate and use up valuable time. Their new software has vastly increased employee productivity and has allowed senior management visibility into the full project cycle.

By integrating with Sage we were able to allow users to see the key financials of a project without having to refer to another application – same for Office 365 Calendars and Tasks.

Sharmans were incredibly satisfied with our custom designed and developed outcome and we look forward to iteratively developing on this over the coming years.
