Delmerion is one of the leading suppliers of selective and preparative skin and hair care cosmetics, as well as dietary supplements. The company bases its business on the desire to afford every individual a feeling of strength and power through their products, which they have done by enriching the market with world-renowned brands that have a long history of indisputable strength and efficiency behind them.

Products that Delmerion sells come directly from the manufacturer, and what further contributes to the quality of choice is that these products are created by a team of experts who continuously research consumer needs and problems, for which Delmerion brands offer solutions. With its promotional activities, the company encourages awareness of the numerous possibilities provided by the preventive and corrective effects of cosmetic products, which affect the health of people generally.

Revamping Delmerion’s Online Presence

In 2018, Delmerion set out to revamp their online presence with the goal of positioning themselves as a leading retailer of luxury cosmetic products in the Croatian market. The biggest obstacle faced was in designing a user-friendly interface that effectively showcased their wide and constantly expanding range of over 500 products. The key to success lay in the careful consideration of color schemes, typography and visual elements to create a seamless and intuitive browsing experience for customers. Another challenge was organizing the products and categories in a way that made it easy for customers to find exactly what they were looking for.

Transforming the Online Shopping Experience

The new webshop was built on the Gauss Box platform, which includes an e-commerce module. The e-commerce platform allowed administrators to process orders, configure payments and the product catalog, and use sales tools. The redesign of the webshop resulted in a significant improvement in the user interface with a careful choice of colors, typography and graphical elements.

Elevating the Customer Experience

By gathering customer feedback, Delmerion identified areas where significant improvements could be made to the user experience. The primary focus was on optimizing the checkout process. This involved a visual redesign of the shopping cart and billing pages, removing unnecessary links and simplifying the navigation.

The billing process was also streamlined with clear visual cues to guide customers through the process, as well as a summary of entered data to reduce the need to click back and check information. When the webshop was first launched, Delmerion used the HT PayWay system for card payments. However, as part of the optimization process, the billing system was changed so that the shop could be integrated with CorvusPay, which brought greater stability in card payments.

In conclusion, a range of services was delivered, including UX/UI design, webshop development on the Gauss Box platform, consulting and customer support.

These efforts resulted in a comprehensive and dynamic online shopping experience for customers, featuring over 50 categories and 700 products, and generating over €106,000 in revenue and an average order value of €30. Delmerion is now able to provide an easy-to-use, informative and engaging webshop to their customers.
