About the Client eMotorWerks is the electric vehicle charging market’s leading provider of smart level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and grid-connected EV charging solutions for utilities, OEMs, workplaces and apartment buildings. Problem The main goal was to create smart-grid charging solutions, employ advanced algorithms and controls to make the charging greener and cheaper. Solution We helped to build a web solution on top of the eMotorWerks platform which allowed them to track the process of charging the car. Also, the platform allows the user to analyze current market price information and shows the predicted increase in price over a certain period of time. The car requests charging patterns from API. The user can see detailed statistics and the cost of consumed electricity. A smart-charge allows to save energy, generate statistics in different types (charts, tables etc.), view current and expected electricity prices.
