About the Project:

Boudoir was looking for assistance in making a website that properly aligned with their brand image/presence. The two primary desires of Boudoir for the design of the website were simple design and a product-focused user experience.

Main Challenge(s):

To properly simplify the website’s core functions to be user-friendly and intuitive, while maintaining Boudoir’s focus to create a product-oriented user experience.

Agency Solution(s):

ForgeBIT created a website that was up to the standards of Boudoir. The website even implemented a mobile-first user experience, alongside an infinite product scroller which focuses on the product-oriented experience requirement. A distraction-free checkout experience was created and PayPal’s payment service was integrated into the checkout process.

Results:

The product listing is graphically maximized so that the products are in the foreground, but at the same time are clearly communicating the price and status tags, such as: New, Coming Soon, and Sold Out. The billing process is optimized by setting a distraction-free checkout. The user on the cashier’s page does not see any additional content or page navigation, rather only the field and checkout form which maximizes the user conversion rate. To help Boudoir prompt customer services, we thoroughly educated them on how to manage the e-commerce processes, and we provide them 24/7 website support.”
