Challenge The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women came to Ignite wanting to increase awareness surrounding heart disease and stroke in women and to build a community within their social channels. Solution We started with a social media strategy that set the tone for our day-to-day social media execution. We used powerful, community-focused content paired with strategic paid media boosting that created emotion and ignited action for women to empower other women. We also supported their sponsors, affiliates and executed live event social coverage for their awareness and fundraising events throughout the year: Live on the ground event coverage and Facebook Live of their Red Dress Collection Fashion show during New York Fashion Week Supported their Facebook Group: #GoRedGetFit Created and executed social-first campaigns around National Women’s Health Week, #Every80Seconds, National Wear Red Day and #SizeHealthy Results 310% Y-o-Y increase in engagements 94% higher engagement than the competitive set 154% increase in Y-o-Y impressions
