goPuff — An On-Demand Delivery Service

About the Project

goPuff is an on-demand delivery service that supplies its clients with student, office, party and household essentials, snacks, drinks, frozen food, groceries, and electronics. This is a mobile convenience store that is always in a pocket. Apart from free Android and iOS apps, the service is also available as a website.

Challenge

Back in 2013, the customer had an idea to build an e-commerce store of party essentials that could deliver them fast and at every time. The task was to create the product for web, iOS, and Android from scratch, make it viable, and release it quickly.

Solution

MLSDev started with design and branding to convey the idea through its visual implementation. When the mockups were finalized, the team started creating an MVP. The team managed to create the core functionality quickly and the app was launched in Philadelphia.

The idea was so good that the client raised funds and continued developing the product. Since 2014, MLSDev has been working with goPuff on ongoing tasks that include adding features, product improvements, process optimization, design and technology updates.

Results

Now, goPuff is a successful company that operates in more than 50 US cities and has about 500 employees. MLSDev is still providing services to the company.

The scope of work is constantly growing as the company now offers various products, expands into more cities and grows its business processes.

MLSDev is currently working not only on the client app but also on the back office to cover the needs of managers, administrators, and drivers.
