About the Client Merkur Versicherung AG, headquartered in Graz, is the oldest insurance company in Austria and insures the lives, health and wealth of the people. The core competence lies in the field of health care. The Challenge The request was to create a mobile application that will offer benefits as Merkur customers of numerous advantages and discounts. Our Solution The main feature of the Merkur App is the insurance part, where Merkur insurer can register into the app and submit claims for full Insurance support. Users can upload scans and select insurance package and get a realtime status of their claim. Other features are discounts and benefits, offers and news. Users will find news on various topics related to exercise, nutrition and relaxation. Discounts are possible at partner hotels in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and the Czech Republic. The Merkur App is available for download on the App Store or on Google Play. Our goal was to create platform architecture, wireframe, design, develop and test web and mobile applications for iOS and Android. It supports 5 countries and languages for a complete user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). MM Studio developed API web service, administration panel for each country supported, native mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
