Notary Cam: E-Sign and E-Notarise Documents Online Share: Imaginary Cloud Score Awaiting client review n/a Date Published 16 January 2020 Reading Time 2-Minute Read NotaryCam, a company with more than 30 years of experience in the USA market, challenged us to digitise their notary workflows. About NotaryCam turns online notary simple. Upload a document, connect through your webcam and electronically sign the document. Skip all the bureaucracy and get your notary needs easily out of the way. The Challenge NotaryCam comes with the promise of simplifying notary needs, but the website wasn’t aligned with their goals. The challenge was to provide clean and trustworthy visuals while making the user experience as intuitive as possible. The Project The problem was addressed by enrolling with the Product Owner and the team in the Product Design Process. The result was a clean design with simple illustrations and the right typography. All the relevant information was kept, but it seems less overwhelming and better organised. Tech Stack The product team was already used to WordPress and we kept the same platform. But in order to achieve a nicer front-end with low technical debt, we delivered key elements as React components. Making it Simple Technical services, such as the ones NotaryCam provides, presents a different challenge for the product team, that has to dig deep into specific fields in which they don’t have much knowledge. However, that’s also the best way to provide simple explanations for complex concepts, sticking to what really matters.
