Francois Poulin, the Chief Development Officer, OpusTime wanted a cloud-based software that helps healthcare professionals to store patient’s information handy. Being a chiropractor himself, he was aware of how difficult it is to manage the patient’s records. Businesses like – clinics, salons, gyms, tattoo parlors, and consultants can use Opus Time and enjoy a seamless user experience.

Ideation

Francois had the vision to provide a robust solution to healthcare professionals and entrepreneurs and enhance client/patient relationships. We powered his vision with our innovative approach and guided Francois at every stage.

Agile Methodology

Opus Time is a big project and there are so many things the software offers. We followed the agile methodology to handle the project wherein we took one step at a time.

Software Designing

He wanted a simple yet advanced layout that is easy to understand and use. Our designers crafted an interactive design that met the client’s expectations.

Development

We build both the website and the software for the project. With time we kept on adding more features to enhance the user experience.

Proper Testing

We followed complete testing processes at each stage of the project. The team considered the testing issues from both the user as well as the admin point-of-view.

Key Challenges We Faced

When it comes to business projects, challenges are normal to arise. There were a few challenges with Opus Time as well.

Our client was focused on creating a solution for the professionals who face a hard time managing their patient’s and client’s information.

Time Zone

One of the major hurdles our team faced was the difference in Time Zones. As Opus Time is based in Canada, we had to ensure that all the invoices, information, and payments are done at the right time.

Invoices and Reports

While adding features like – invoices and reports, we had a tough time. It was mainly due to location and time issues. The same was the case with reports where putting the right information at the right time and the date was quite challenging.

Third-Party Integration

Opus Time has some third-party integrations as well. For example – the software features effortless communication features like – custom messages and emails in integration with Mail Chimp and Sendgrid.  We had to make sure that all the third-party integrations are done smoothly.

Challenges will come and go, but the client relationship is here to stay! Softuvo overcame all the challenges and provided him with seamless services throughout.

We overcame all the hurdles and successfully delivered the project.

We started working on Opus Time in 2017 and ever since then we covered all the ups and downs of the project. From creating an interactive website to integrating smart software our team did exceedingly well.
