Rebrand specialist, Percept, was approached for a complete rebrand of energy software company, Gridcog.

The Challenge 

Gridcog is powerful software that helps big energy users navigate the transition to a decentralized and decarbonized future. Rebranding specialist, Percept, was approached for a complete rebrand that would truly represent the business and the platform.

The challenge for Percept’s designers on this rebrand project was to create a clear tone of voice, brand identity systems and UX for a quite complex industry and formula.

The Solution 

For the rebrand, Percept developed a strong brand positioning for Gridcog, which involved an approachable tone of voice. Such a tone expressed Gridcog’s ability to provide its clients with the confidence they need in their economic and environmental performance by connecting their world of energy.

Percept created a striking and flexible brand identity on this rebrand project, with a unique set of moving worlds to visually represent the brand positioning. An inspiring color palette built a suite of fluid gradients while housing unique typography systems.

The new brand identity has seamlessly transitioned into website design – showcasing the company’s culture, and presenting the company as a true industry leader of the energy sector.
