About

Shake&Take is a Coca-Cola loyalty mobile application that has been on the market for five years now. Currently, it is active in three countries: Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia, with plans to expand into additional countries.

The application mechanism is a relatively simple one. Under a 0,5 L bottle cap (Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta) there is a code that the user enters in the application to get an instant reward. Rewards are provided by project partners, such as telco companies, large retailers, digital service companies and many others.

What is different about this application is that alongside the basic code entry mechanism, project partners (more than 50 of them) and users can use many application functionalities that suits both parties. Project partners application functionalities can use to increase brand awareness and sales, while users use the same functionalities for their own entertainment and enjoyment.

Results

The application in all three countries (Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia) has a total of 450,000 users and 75% of the user base is between 16-29 years old.

The average user session per visit is 05:34 minutes and Coca-Cola products that were included in the application saw a 5% sales increase compared to the plan.

For project partners, on average, we generate a 3-6 % sales increase, depending on the partner. It is extremely rare for a marketing project to be active for five years in a row, let alone each year surpassing previous year results.
