It’s a team of talented travel experts with a deep-rooted passion for travel and customer service. The main problem was to offer really different destination and travel services in one place, and allow travel agents to provide their business activities through the same systems as end customers do. Requirement Build a web portal and a mobile application which allow end customers and travel agents to book accommodation, tickets and all the desired activities at various destinations the company operates with. Using the mobile application, travel agents should be able to get instant access to all the database of offers which is also available through the web portal. The ability of instant booking and instant payment online is a must. The solution has to be integrated with a number of local accounting and inventory management systems. Approach To solve this problem bespoke booking system was used as the core, and lots of adaptations and the several circles of modernization been done. The API and the mobile application were created from scratch and heavily tested under all the conditions of real business processes, implementing necessary improvements after all the real-life tests. During the project flow our development and QA team was cooperating with devOps and system administrators at the client’s side, participating number of strategic planning meetings with corporate management as well.
