About the Client Visionstream delivers network services to Carriers and ISPs using an internal and contracted field workforce that is designing, constructing, commissioning, and maintaining telecommunications infrastructure: towers, radio, fiber, and backhaul networks all across Australia for clients including Telstra, Optus, NSW Telecoms Authority, Ericsson. A Wireless Way of Working The vision of a wireless way of working led to a division-wide transformation project that is aimed at developing a cloud-native, mobile-first, large-scale enterprise work management systems that bring Visionstream’s extensive experience in the networks market and collaborative culture to every employee in the field using mobile applications without compromising on safety or quality. This system change is underpinned by efficient process redesign including new decision workflows, task development, rule-based notifications engine, mobile timesheeting, path dependent process flows, digitization of knowledge, and embedding analytics in daily decision making. A Technical Partnership Blitzm was selected as a technical partner to enable process efficiency in a diverse field workforce, to create visibility on jobs and progress at work locations all across Australia, to provide auditable compliance in the decision-making process and to further enhance the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality processes. Blitzm has engineered the VIEWS mobility solution, the VIEWS platform expansion, and a roadmap that will transform Visionstream with a next-generation operating model for the digital world.
