Our work with guidesportugalia.com began by carefully considering the topic and target customer.

Our clients, Anna and Kaja, provide tours around Portugal. The target group for the website was people aged 40+, and for private tours, people aged 25+.

Challenge and Solution

Portugal Guide already had its own website, but it was not adapted to mobile devices and made in the style reminiscent of websites from 2008.

The first element was moving the site to new hosting, buying a dedicated domain and content management system. Polish hosting was chosen – due to the quality and price/quality ratio.

Starting the activities on the site required checking the client’s needs, choosing the appropriate graphic design, and jointly writing the structure and editing the content.

On the website, we have ensured proper implementation of the requirements related to the GDPR, privacy policy and relevant marketing consents regarding the form.

The next stage after the implementation of the appropriate structure of the site was its appropriate acceleration, cache enables, compression of photos. As clients decided to run the website and write articles on their own, training in appropriate SEO practices and website optimization was also carried out.

It was also important to connect web analytics and integrate heat maps, install Facebook Pixel and set up conversion counting events. The site has also been prepared for running Google Ads campaigns.

The clients also decided to promote the website – we started cooperation with the appropriate creation of the Google Ads campaign structure, we focused on the search engine due to the specificity of the target client.

In 4 months, the modernization and promotional activities brought:
