SetuBridge Technolabs was approached by SmartPack USA to improve the UX of the company’s website, as well as the site’s functioning on mobile devices.

Welcome to SmartPack USA, your one-stop store for premium catering supplies and food service equipment. The company is based in New York, and it produces, sells, and distributes environmentally friendly products worldwide. The company specializes in providing custom-printed restaurant supplies, including food picks, cutlery, and beverage stirrers, which help promote its client’s brands across social media platforms.

The products are generally produced in-house at the company’s Long Island facility to ensure the highest quality and the fastest lead times for the customers. Although it supplies some of the world’s largest brands and distributors, it also offers low minimum order quantities for small to midsize customers. It also boasts excellent customer service and diligent quality assurance promises.

The Challenge

The client had high expectations for our website project and outlined specific requirements to ensure that we would provide a captivating user experience. We aimed to provide personalized experiences to all users, but unfortunately, they faced certain challenges as we worked on the project. The speed of the website was a concern, and we also had a need to better communicate the client’s brand message.

The company also wanted to automate its processes and engage customers through technology. Streamlining fulfillment and minimizing errors was critical to their success. They had prioritized cybersecurity and sought to display multiple images to enhance their website’s visual appeal. The company entrusted us with the task of delivering on their expectations and creating a remarkable website.

The Solution

SetuBridge took a proactive approach to address concerns and enhance user convenience in this project. We focused on optimizing performance by upgrading the website’s Magento version from 2.2 to 2.4, while improving website speed for desktop and mobile devices. We also customized the site’s front end for mobile compatibility. These improvements ensured that visitors to the website would enjoy its top-notch performance and a seamless user experience.

In addition to performance enhancements, SetuBridge also integrated ShipStation to improve delivery-related functioning. Integrations were also made to social media sites, such as Facebook and Instagram, to promote the client’s services. We also enhanced the client’s product designer extension, and automated email deliveries for increased efficiency.

The Result

The new theme on the SmartPack website improved the experience of site visitors and made the site work better on mobile devices. The product designer extension made customers happier and helped increase sales. ShipStation’s integration made the shipping process more automated, which led to faster delivery times. We also integrated one of our high-demand custom product designer Magento 2 extensions, which now helps the client to provide solutions for their eCommerce store. The website optimization and Magento upgrade has made the website faster, safer, and more useful, which has made the user experience better as a whole.
