You might have noticed our rebranding during these last couple of months, and I wanted to answer all the questions you’ve been dying to ask about our new venture into a fully-fledged creative agency…

When and how did Good Kids start as a business? How has it changed over the years?

We’ve always been causing a scene. We started business in 2008, capturing people’s attention with dramatic, immersive, and super-shareable nostalgia-themed charity events. The more successful we became, the more press we received, and then we started doing custom productions for businesses, brands, and individuals. As we grew, so did our service lines. We’ve expanded on our ability to curate bold ideas into vibrant atmospheres and applied that to creating eye-catching, vivid advertising, branded activations, and creative content for all manner of clients.

Over a decade later, we’re still creating the material that gets people talking with fresh campaigns for brands and businesses by creating advertising, digital marketing & social media content with this ethos. We keep it simple, inspire fun & make it shareable.

You’ve recently gone through a total rebranding, and obviously, the pandemic played a hand in your repositioning, can you explain how you decided this was the path for Good Kids to take?

While the Pandemic was definitely a shift away from physical activations, the explosive increase in screen time and online activity has provided brands with a much more robust platform to communicate our client’s key messaging in a digital landscape now. We’re happy to provide digital marketing and creative content solutions that help our clients get the attention they’re looking for

Good Kids seems to be a very playful company; what is your mission for the business? What do you hope to achieve in the coming year?

To engage brands the way you would a friend. To build ourselves as the agency of choice where culture and commerce meet.

What does marketing mean to you?

Create demand, focus on authentic connection, build trust & drive clarity.

How do you hope to define Good Kids and stand out in a sea of creative agencies?

We’re about engaging audiences in meaningful ways that help brands scale.

What are you most grateful for in the past year?

The time gifted to us to better focus on what matters most. To nurture and grow our business, to help our community & to see our clients succeed.

Once this is all over, do you expect to return to event marketing?

We’ll certainly be offering brand activations and event marketing to our clients in 2022. Connecting with each other and partaking in shared experiences is never gonna go outta style. It’s what humans do best. We’ll take every appropriate safety precaution and curate experiences that we can all join together when it’s safe to do so.
