Mobile Application Development for National Radio Station

Our company is a Croatian regional radio station. Our broadcasts’ reach has been limited online due to a dated mobile browser user interface. Because of this, we have decided to seek the help of a digital agency skilled in mobile app development, and design, in order to broadcast more easily nationwide.

To put it plainly, we need an awesome mobile app that will satisfy our listeners nationwide, take minimal data to operate well, take up a small amount of space on our listeners’ phones, be intuitive and easy to operate, and most importantly, represent the radio station listening experience as it really is, excellent.

The scope of the project is to develop a mobile radio application so listeners are not limited by the broadcast distance we are currently limited by.

The core features of the mobile app should be:

• Android and iPhone versions of the application
• High-quality audio output/rendering
• Low in data-usage
• Lock screen/Home screen controls
• Push Notifications (regarding broadcasts, more settings available)
• Small app size (concerning phone memory)
• Archives older broadcasts for later listening (server may be needed)

In this first round, we expect to receive the following:

1. Mobile app development proposal based on our proposal (implementation plan + estimated timeline + budget)
2. Graphic design proposals for the look of the app, and branding (sketches/designs +estimated timeline + budget)
3. Breakdown of our future steps and a rundown of server requirements
