Crowd would like to welcome Pam Simpson, our new head of the Crowd USA office in sunny California!

With San Francisco being the oldest Crowd location in the States, we would be lying if we said it did not hold a special place in our heart. Since 2013, Crowd USA has worked on west coast projects with clients such as St. Helena, CA, Visit Napa Valley and Plastic Oceans.

From destination marketing to web design to social media management, Crowd USA has worked on projects that have achieved award-winning results.

Crowd worked alongside Pam when she led the destination marketing efforts for St. Helena, CA, and together, we were able to give the city a brand repositioning strategy that resulted in an increase in the tourism market share. From there, Crowd delivered new branding, website and promotion for FLAVOR!, Visit Napa Valley’s annual food and wine festival.

Crowd USA also loves working with the non-profit organizations such as Plastic Oceans Foundation! Diving deeper into the environmental issues caused by plastic in our oceans, Crowd refreshed the brand and developed and implemented a global marketing strategy.

Our MD, Jamie, says: “It’s great to have Crowd filled with so many talented individuals; and I don’t doubt Pam will fit right in with our global team. With Crowd USA being under her leadership, I’m sure we’ll be seeing great things from that corner of the world.”

Having worked in non-profits and on political campaigns, Pam has the skills and passion to achieve results (and win every debate!). Politics may have been where it started, but since then she owned her own winery in Napa Valley and went on to lead a business organization in St. Helena, a city who serves three million tourists annually, where she successfully supported businesses by promoting their brands via an effective destination marketing plan. Crowd feels lucky to welcome her on-board.

Crowd first worked with Pam on a campaign together in Napa Valley, but now, she will be leading the growth and development of Crowd within the USA; and with her first-hand knowledge of the area, we could not think of anyone better to be the head of the office! After the office doors close and the laptops are away, she will be showing us how to properly pair our wine and food – very much a valued asset to the team!

Pam noted, “Joining the Crowd team after being a client for five years is a really great change for me and one that I hope will be beneficial to Crowd as it grows. I can use the experience I gained as a client as well as leveraging what I’ve learned as an entrepreneur and marketer to give our partners the best service possible.”
