About the Client SOCAR Ukraine is a leading Ukrainian fuel trader that develops both retail and wholesale business. Challenge The key task in this project was to develop a multifunctional application that would give the users all the necessary functions to make their purchasing process as comfortable and smooth as possible. Much attention was paid to the integration with payment systems and cash registers. Solution The solution we have developed includes several components, but the key part is a cashless payment system that makes it possible to refuel your car without any cash or bank cards, just with your smartphone. The user scans the QR code from the gas pump with the smartphone, chooses the number of liters or the sum of money to be used, the proper amount is debited from the user’s account, the payment is credited, the gas station employee inserts the gun, the system identifies the type of fuel and the car is fueled. Meanwhile, the cash register prints the receipt remotely, thanks to the integration with the mobile application. Besides, the user can get an electronic bill by e-mail or in the app.
