What inspires you to do what you do?

“I think it’s important that passion drives our work: to that end, it’s important that we care about each and every client and the work that they do.”

What do you like the most about marketing?

“Making a difference and helping businesses grow.”

Do you have a favorite marketing campaign? Share an example with us. (It doesn’t have to be done by your agency)

“Probably our favorite campaign is one we did to help enroll people online in clinical trials for Alzheimer’s research.  The clients are the Brain Health Registry and the Global Alzheimer’s Platform and we utilized celebrity spokespeople such as Ron Reagan, Jr. and Paul Abdul to help spread the word and talk about their personal stories. The campaign helped sign up upwards of 10,000 new members online and is on track for the initiative to find a cure for this terrible disease by 2025. Case study is here.

How would you describe your role in the agency? What are you responsible for?

“Creative, business development, making sure the trains run on time and everything else that no one else does.”

What kind of books do you read?

“I love fiction – it’s a great way to escape. Right now, I’m reading Richard Russo’s latest novel, “Nobody’s Fool.” I think he’s one of the great American writers, in the vein of Pat Conroy and John Irving.”

Do you have any book recommendations?

“See above.”

If you had 15 minutes to talk with a successful person, who would you choose and why?

“President Barack Obama. I think he’s one of the smartest, classiest and results-driven people on the planet. I’d like to know how he continues to take the high road even in the face of adversity. Plus, I’d love it if he’d sing a song for me.”

What do you do for fun?

“Travel, Theatre, Symphony and taking in the culinary delights of San Francisco’s amazing restaurant scene.”

What keeps you awake at night?

“Donald Trump as President.”

What is the first thing you do in the morning?

“Stretch. Then, I hop on the computer at 5:30 a.m.”

Which superpower would you like to have?

“Well, since I studied piano, I’d like to be able to be good enough to play Carnegie Hall.”

Do you watch TV shows? Which ones?

“My current favorite is ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ starring Rachel Bloom, available on Netflix. It’s funny, well-written and not just a TV series – but a musical TV series!”

What is a success for you?

“Success is making the world a better place.”

What human qualities do you like among your colleagues?

“A “can-do” spirit.”
