We are building a rural tourism tours and activities marketplace and to position it on the consumer market we need to optimise our search engine presence.

About the Company

In order to bridge the existing gap between demand and online supply of authentic tourism services in rural areas, we are creating an online marketplace which will efficiently connect tourists with service providers.

Consolidating rural tourism services will create a network effect: diversified portfolio and a high number of such authentic services will, due to its attractiveness and potential, scarce online presence and overall distribution fragmentation, inevitably lead to higher demand from consumers.

On the other side, service providers faced with the lack of quality marketing channels to monetize their resources (truly specific for this niche) will recognize the opportunity and join in, especially given the reservation management software we built for them. This niche focus will moreover lead to stronger bonds with customers but in the big enough market to be profitable.

The company will be founded in Croatia in March 2019 as a limited liability company with four founders.

Goals and Objectives

Goals of the project are to become a recognizable online destination for tourists all over the world coming to Croatia and searching for authentic experiences. We want to become a competitive brand among hundreds of generic tourist experencies offered by high-scale OTA-s or traditional tourist agencies and take over some of their market share when it comes to tours & activities consumption. Translated into more tangible and more specific results, we want to optimize the content, structure, links etc. in order to become a first-page result and choice when it comes to truly original tourism experiences in one destination. Other than that we want to choose key words to be associated with that will in a long-term not only be used to connect our platform with people searching for them, but also to get recognized as a one-stop place for a modern-day tourist to find and buy rural tourism tour or activity online.

Scope of Work and Deliverables

In round 1 we expect to receive a list of references, and case studies outlining work done in the past involving the desired expertise (SEO, SEM, Digital Marketing).
