About the Company

With over 25 years of experience, the client is one of the largest and most reputable events agencies in the Adria region.

Their diverse portfolio includes large-scale music, media, sports and food festivals, sponsored by global brands.

This summer (June), the client is organizing an event focused on the sports media industry in Zadar, Croatia. 

The event will bring together a host of prominent individuals from the world of sports, business and media, setting new standards in the organization of sporting business events.

Participants are to include well-known sports personalities from America and Europe, from sports including American football, UFC, NBA basketball, baseball, tennis and European football. 

Goals and Objectives

The client would like to work with an experienced PR agency to help raise awareness of the event in tier one US sports, travel and lifestyle media.

The PR agency’s core work will be to raise awareness of the event. They need to establish the brand through US media (digital, press) and social media before and after the event.

The plan is to hold a sports media event every year, therefore the client is looking for a long-term partner who will help them to create brand value for the event, especially in the USA, but globally as well.

Scope of Work and Deliverables

Event coverage in 10-20 tier one publications.

The chosen agency should convey the uniqueness of the event:

  • No comparable events in the region
  • Prominent speakers from the world of sports, sports media, and sports business
  • Desirable summer travel location

Agency Requirements

The client is looking for US-based PR agencies that have proven experience promoting high-end, global sports events targeting attendees from Europe and the United States.

The agency must have connections with tier one media outlets and publications in the United States, preferably, those specializing in sports-related, lifestyle or travel content. 

Timeline of the project

  • PR and social media activation should start mid-April 2022 to raise awareness of the event in the USA
  • The post-event PR phase must showcase how inspiring, informative and fun the event was.
