An outline of how RabIT Solutions built a planning and management tool for event organizers around the globe

The Client

Our client was the CEO of a SaaS startup based in Eger, one of the biggest event hubs in Hungary. He had been organizing events for nearly 20 years, during which he encountered countless hectic and stressful situations that are quite common in the events management industry. His goal was to simplify the everyday work of event organizers by inventing the “event flow representation method.” To launch his startup, he needed an MVP software product to bring his idea to life.

The Challenge

The client’s idea was to address the root causes of his problem: hard-to-follow multi-page event scripts and scattered information in many of emails and phone calls, which often led to headaches, delays, and misunderstandings within his team. He wanted to develop a platform that would present event flows in a more streamlined and transparent manner, while also providing a clear overview of current tasks for each team member.

The Solution

We completed the MVP in just 3 months, and the result was a slick and streamlined solution that allows organizers to easily create and promptly share event plans through the web app’s polished UI. All event information is stored in the cloud, and the application presents each task on a single graph using the “event flow representation method.” This allows team members to easily access the most recent updates to the agenda, ensuring clarity about their upcoming tasks.

The Results

Although Cascade is currently in the first MVP phase, it is already a full-fledged application with active users. Based on early feedback, the platform has been immense help for event organizers: it makes it far easier to navigate through masses of information and long event scripts, and also helps event organizers with administration and inventory management. Using the app’s sophisticated graph, potential gaps and overloads in a schedule can be identified in the planning phase.
