Héroes Takeda was an internal campaign to generate employee’s engagement for the Human Resources department in México.

The Client

Takeda is the largest pharmaceutical company in Japan, with business offices outside of Japan located in Europe and the United States. Its Mexican subsidiary has more than 3,000 employees.

The Challenge

The Human Resources department in Mexico needed an internal campaign to invite all its employees to participate in dynamics that would help the company obtain the ESR (Empresa Socialmente Responsable – Socially Responsible Company) certification.

The Solution

We created the concept and implemented an internal campaign with emailing and printed invitations to invite all employees to participate in the dynamics. For a week, an event was held on the forecourt of the building so that all the participants could give their ideas to help the company reduce non-recyclable waste, such as recycling, saving paper, proper disposal of batteries, etc. In this event, volunteers who wanted to participate hand in hand with Human Resources in a 6-month program were registered.

The creative concept was Takeda Heroes, so all materials and dynamics had to do with heroes within the company.

  • Special dynamics were generated for volunteers to the program, giving them work credentials dressed as heroes.
  • 50 capes and 50 hero masks were delivered, using the brand’s institutional red.
  • Secret communications were sent via email to summon the volunteers to secret meetings.
  • Secret meetings of the volunteers were held in secret locations in the company building.
  • Exclusive stationery was designed for the volunteers (notebooks and pens).

The Result

We exceed customer expectations by delivering a favorable result 3 times higher than expected. The Human Resources department needed 15 volunteer participants and the program started with 45.
