The client wanted to develop a web portal for customers to sign up to the platform end-to-end and dominate the Dublin market.

What They Wanted

Squid Loyalty is a digital, contactless loyalty platform based in Dublin, Ireland. The platform operates as an app that allows consumers to keep their loyalty cards in one place and gives business owners better control of their loyalty schemes.

The client wanted to develop a web portal for customers to sign up to the platform end-to-end and dominate the Dublin market. After having had a bad experience with other software contractors, the client wanted to bring the platform up to their desired standard by restructuring data and improving the web experience.

What We Did

The Grofuse team worked with Squid Loyalty’s in-house backend developer to create a seamless integration for business users to set up their store on the platform’s front-end.

This offers the store owner a profile for managing their account with Squid. Adding new stores to the system or managing existing listings was previously done manually, but through increased capabilities, store owners can now add their profile through the Web App and instantaneously make their listings live.

Our development team implemented a store sign-up username and password feature, location address and location opening hours sections, and screen navigation with a detailed breakdown of the features included. Steps were minimised to improve the user experience for users to collect stamps, redeem rewards and view loyalty balances.

Grofuse incorporated a complete online payment system with a card input set up to respond accordingly to the online payment system, called Stripe.

The Result

The result is cutting-edge and seamless software that keeps customers coming back and boosts revenue with a digital loyalty card on Squid. The onboarding process has been simplified significantly to perfect the user experience. The team designed a series of interactions and instructions that help the user ease into the product’s experience for increased conversion and retention. Squid is now Ireland’s highest-ranking loyalty platform
