Do you know how to switch between accounts and comment as yourself or a page on a Facebook company page you are managing?

For better reach and engagement on social media, replying to comments is essential. Responding to your users and customers is a way of developing a brand voice and showing them that you like to interact with them and care about their opinions.

When commenting on Facebook, we suppose that you often comment as a Facebook Page, i.e., business profile. Sometimes, it is good to put a “face” behind a reply and show that your business is authentic.

But if you are managing someone else’s Facebook page, always respond or like the post as a business page with the page’s logo. In this situation, it is quite unprofessional to answer from your private account.

You want to convey a more professional approach and let the community know that you are a brand they can trust.

If you administer your own or someone else’s page, here are the steps to help you quickly switch from your personal to the business account and vice versa from your desktop computer.

  1. Log into Facebook and go to the page you administer.
  2. Above option “Create Post,” in the upper right corner is located your page’s logo – click on it and switch accounts.
  3. Select the name of the profile you want to comment as.
  4. Go to a post you want to comment on.
  5. Your new comment posted from the profile you chose should appear on the post of the page you administer.
