We developed a new service with bonuses and discounts for users in Mail.Ru, using an internal API and asynchronous Python technology. It was integrated into all major services of the company and its business partners.

About the Client

Mail.Ru Group is the largest Internet company in Runet, which owns several dozens of online services, including e-commerce, social networks, email services, etc.

Problem

The company entered into an agreement with a number of business partners to introduce a new loyalty program to encourage regular users and attract new ones. This program was designed for a range of internal services and had to be technically implemented within the portal. One of the most important tasks was to integrate the service with the email service provider which is used by 100 Mio people. Due to this, the project required strong expertise and proven experience with Python and APIs integration.

Task

Develop and implement a new loyalty program service for Mail.Ru using an internal API and asynchronous Python technology.

Solution

Our team developed a large service and successfully integrated it with a number of Mail.Ru Group projects and external websites.
