Biggest fashion e-commerce solution in Baltics.

The Challenge

We adapted and integrated whole e-commerce process chains to their internal systems, meanwhile creating an attractive, automated and functional user experience.

 had already been a big player in the fashion retail when they decided to launch their e-commerce. As you would imagine, this can require extra effort to sync already effective store management with a brand new business model. And that was our main task: optimizing the new processes, maintaining a smooth experience for the customer – from buying to shipping. We adapted and integrated the whole e-commerce process chains to their internal systems, meanwhile creating an attractive, automated and functional user experience.

Our overall analysis showed that Apranga should use the Omnichannel e-shop conception.

Omnichannel – is a multichannel approach to sales that seeks to provide customers with a seamless shopping experience, whether they’re shopping online from a desktop or mobile device or physical offline stores.

That means we integrated physical shops in our solution, as well. The shops have now become storage points, where customers can pick up their orders and pay for them. Physical store and warehouse workers were provided with a special mobile app, which allows them to serve customers, manage returns or ship the orders much faster.

Smooth E-Shop Experience

Mobile-first. That was the mindset when we started to work on UI/UX.

We developed a responsive desktop version only after we had finished the mobile version first. A lot of our effort was oriented on search and filtering engine, catalog and product pages. And let’s not forget – this is the apparel e-commerce solution. That means that navigation and category system is crucial: every product not only can now be sorted according to their size or color but by style, material pattern and many other attributes.

And the last but not least – smooth and quick payment process.

The Functionalities

Stock Management:

  • Order allocation;
  • Grouping SKU & orders receipts according to purchase orders;
  • The automatically generated lists of SKU collection;
  • The warehouse system monitoring the progress of tasks or order status;
  • Automatic ‘Packing List’ sticker;
  • Commodity balance management in different warehouses;
  • Automatic collection of SKU from different warehouses.

Sales Management:

  • Automated sales management;
  • Mobile app for SKU collection and sending orders;
  • Integration with the courier delivery systems;
  • Receiving a tracking number for a shipment;
  • Automatic order status updates;
  • Automatic updates for the customer;
  • Simple product returning process.

Mobile app for sales and storage:

  • Collection of SKU from different warehouses;
  • Order confirmation;
  • Ordering for the customer;
  • Orders returns;
  • Possibility to return the purchased goods to any of Apranga Group stores (when the goods are returned, the QR code is scanned and the refund is done automatically).

The Results

The fashion industry is very sensitive to time. We had to act fast. What seemed to be really challenging became a reality: the solution was fully launched in just 6 months.
